Conor McGregor Charged With 6 Offenses After Alleged Dangerous Driving Incident in March
Ultimate Fighting Championship star Conor McGregor has been charged with six traffic offenses after his latest incident this March.
According to Dublin Live on Thursday, McGregor appeared in court in Dublin, where he was charged with six driving-related offenses. On March 22, he was stopped in his Bentley and arrested for alleged dangerous driving, where he was handed two counts of this violation. Four more came on Thursday, including driving without a license and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. Per to his lawyer, Michael Staines, the police have subsequently been shown his license and proof of insurance.

These violations are far from McGregor’s first, as he has 18 past convictions on his record, most for traffic offenses, per a report from The Independent. McGregor last competed at UFC 264 in July 2021, where he broke his leg at the end of the opening round against Dustin Poirier. As he stated above, McGregor is still training, in hopes of a return sometime in 2022.
