Chris Camozzi Replaces Injured C.B. Dollaway, Faces Cezar Ferreira at UFC on FX 8

An injury has forced C.B. Dollaway out of his middleweight clash with Cezar Ferreira at "UFC on FX 8. Chris Camozzi will step in to take Dollaway’s place on the May 18 card.

Promotion officials announced the change on Monday. UFC on FX 8 takes place at Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil, and features an 185-pound main event pitting Luke Rockhold against Vitor Belfort.

Camozzi, 26, went 3-0 in 2012, posting victories over Dustin Jacoby, Nick Catone and Luiz Cane. Most recently, “The Ultimate Fighter 11”alumnus took a split decision victory over Nick Ring at UFC 158 on March 16.

Cezar “Mutante” won the middleweight final of “TUF: Brazil” by defeating Sergio Moraes via unanimous decision at UFC 147 last June. It was the first time in five professional victories that the Xtreme Couture product had gone the distance. Ferreira has not competed since his triumph over Moraes.
