Boxing: Wladimir Klitschko, Bryant Jennings Official for HBO Headliner

The best heavyweight boxer on the planet made official his next challenge by successfully making weight Friday in New York.

Wladimir Klitschko (241.6) and Bryant Jennings (226.8) hit their marks Friday to put the stamp on Saturday's HBO Boxing headliner, which takes place at the world-famous Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, N.Y.

Klitschko will attempt the 18th defense of his IBF championship, a title he's held since 2006. The 39-year-old champ also has possession of the WBO, WBA and Ring belts.

Sherdog.com's live coverage will begin Saturday at approximately 10 p.m. ET with play-by-play and round-by-round scoring.
