Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya confirmed the welterweight bout to ESPN.com on Wednesday. The card will also feature Demetrius Andrade against Jermell Charlo, as well as Keith Thurman versus Leonard Bundu.

Khan (29-3, 19 KOs) has bounced back well after dropping two straight junior welterweight world title bouts against Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson. The 27-year-old is currently riding a three-fight winning streak and is often said to be next in line for a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Alexander (26-2, 14 KOs) will be making his first appearance in the boxing capital after a 10-year career. While no titles will be on the line, Alexander is looking to climb back up the heap, as he once held welterweight and junior welterweight titles.
