Bobby Lashley Signs Long-Term Contract Extension with Bellator MMA

Bobby Lashley has signed a long-term contract extension with Bellator MMA.

The announcement was made via press release on Friday. Lashley competed twice for the Scott Coker-led promotion in 2014, finishing both Josh Burns and Karl Etherington.

"I've had two fights with Bellator, and I'm happy to be calling the promotion my home," Lashley said in the releasee. "Scott Coker and the company have really reignited my desire to fight and I'm looking forward to a huge year with some dominant wins."

The 38-year-old Lashley doubles as a professional wrestler for TNA Wrestling. “The Dominator” was scheduled to fight James Thompson at Bellator 134, but an injury canceled the bout.

Outside of Bellator, Lashley has competed for Strikeforce, Titan Fighting Championships, Shark Fights and, Xtreme Fighting League.
