Ben Saunders vs. Court McGee, 2 Other Bouts Set for UFC Fight Night 103 in Phoenix

A welterweight clash pitting Ben Saunders against Court McGee is set for UFC Fight Night 103 in Phoenix on Jan. 15.

The promotion recently announced the pairing, as well as two other contests: Erik Koch vs. Tony Martin at lightweight and Devin Powell vs. Jordan Rinaldi at 155 pounds. UFC Fight Night takes place at Talking Stick Resort in Phoenix. A headliner for the event has not yet been announced.

Saunders recently rejoined the UFC roster following a brief hiatus. After parting ways with the Las Vegas-based promotion earlier this year, “Killa B” earned a 17-second submission of fellow Octagon veteran Jacob Volkmann at Fight Night at the Island in Minnesota on Sept. 9. Saunders has won four of his last five fights, including three UFC triumphs.

McGee went 1-1 in 2016. After suffering a first-round TKO defeat to Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC on Fox 19, “The Ultimate Fighter 11” winner outpointed Dominque Steele at UFC Fight Night Rodriguez vs. Caceres on Aug. 8.
