Bellator MMA will hold another open tryout on Dec. 14 at Daddis Fight Camps in Philadelphia.
Promotion officials announced the news on Thursday. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. ET, with the evaluation process starting one hour later. Bellator has held several such tryouts in years past, which have uncovered the likes of Jason Butcher, Mike Mucitelli, Jared Downing and Ailton Barbosa.
Fighters attending the event must be unrestricted free agents and are required to bring a mouthpiece, a cup and MMA or boxing gloves with them. Competitors from all weight classes are welcome, and the tryout will consist of one-on-one grappling matches and a group striking session. No live MMA sparring will take place.
Attendees should also bring their MMA ID or their MixedMartialArts.com profile page that includes their photo. At the conclusion of the tryout, Bellator’s talent relations team will review the performances and contact those considered for a potential shot in the promotion.
