No matchups have been announced by the promotion, and it is currently unknown at which event the middleweight tournament will begin. The Vianna-Rogers pairing was originally reported by ProFighting-Fans.com. Sherdog.com is the first to confirm that Paraisy will compete in the Season 6 draw.

A muay Thai practitioner, Vianna is known for his aggressiveness in the cage. Representing Wand Fight Team, the 32-year-old Brazilian advanced to the Season 5 tournament final last year, outpointing Sam Alvey before knocking out Bryan Baker in the semifinals. A shot at the title would elude the middleweight, however, as he was turned away by Alexander Shlemenko in the final round.

Rogers, 27, has acquitted himself well thus far in his Bellator career, knocking out O’Donnell in the Season 5 quarterfinals before being stopped by Shlemenko in a competitive semifinal showdown. “The Predator” has finished all eight of his fallen foes by either knockout or submission.

Known as “The Arm Collector,” Santana is famous for his armbar submissions and has tapped 13 of his 17 career victims with the hold. Beaten only once as a pro, the Team Oyama fighter debuted successfully in Bellator on Oct. 8 and submitted Darryl Cobb with his favorite maneuver.

Unbeaten in 12 career outings, Santos earned four wins in 2011. The Brazilian last competed on Sept. 16, outpointing Paulo Rodrigues at WFE 10. Representing Ze Mario Team, “Carioca” owns all but two of his career wins by decision.

O’Donnell returns to the Bellator cage after stumbling in the Season 5 quarterfinals, falling by knockout to Rogers at Bellator 50. A winner in two of his last three outings, O’Donnell owns nine of his 11 career wins by submission and has never tapped in over three years as a professional.

A former M-1 Global standout, Vasilevsky won that promotion’s light heavyweight championship in 2010 by finishing Tomasz Narkun. Once-beaten as a pro, the 23-year-old has not lost since dropping his second career bout in 2008. Vasilevsky rides a 14-fight winning streak into the tournament, most recently outpointing Robert Jocz on June 4.

Falcao, 30, made his lone UFC appearance in 2010, outpointing Gerald Harris at UFC 123. Since receiving his release from the Zuffa-owned promotion due to legal issues in his native Brazil, “Big Rig” has won two of his last three fights, most recently earning his 23rd career knockout by besting Douglas del Rio on Oct. 8.

Paraisy’s first run with Bellator ended abruptly when he was choked out by former UFC titlist Dave Menne in the Season 1 welterweight quarterfinals in 2009. Since that loss, the Frenchman has not tasted defeat, posting a record of 5-0-1 after his lone appearance for the Chicago-based promotion.
