Mike Wessel vs. Alexei Kudin

Round 1
After a 30-second feeling-out period, Wessel drives in on a single-leg takedown, but gets stood up along the fence for a moment. He adjusts his grip and sucks Kudin down to the mat, and sets up in half guard. The UFC veteran chips away with short left hands to the ribs and head. Wessel postures up in Kudin’s loose half guard and starts landing with both hands. Wessel passes to side for a moment, but Kudin regains half, then gets back to his feet. The Arkansas native is all over him, and puts him right back on the mat. Kudin tries to roll into a single of his own, but Wessel crucifixes his attacking arm and pounds away on his head with hammerfists. Kudin is simply turtling. Wessel continues punching away until he seemingly gets bored, and tries to lock up a rear-naked choke with no hooks. He pulls Kudin back, but blows the choke and gives up top position. Kudin nearly winds up in mount, landing a salvo of punches, but Wessel shrimps away and regains his feet. Kudin tiredly punches at Wessel, but Wessel smacks him around with a three-piece before the horn.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Wessel
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Wessel
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Wessel

Round 2
The Belarusian gauges the distance with some slow leg kicks as Wessel bobs and weaves just out of range. Kudin sticks a jab over top of Wessel’s. The pace slows to a crawl, and when Kudin kicks next, Wessel shoots right in on him, pushing him back to the fence. “The Juggernaut” locks his hands behind Kudin and sucks him to the mat. Kudin nearly pops up off the fence, but Wessel is bullish and forces him back down, taking half guard. Wessel punches away and then casually claims full mount, popping Kudin with a few hard shots before he is bucked from mount. Kudin stands and kicks away at Wessel’s legs until allowing him to stand. Kudin touches Wessel with a few glancing leg kicks before finally cracking him with a hard outside one. When he goes back to the well, Wessel rushes him with punches that back him off until the horn.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Wessel
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Wessel
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Wessel

Round 3
Kudin pops his jab out and sporadically throws inside low kicks while Wessel bides his time, seemingly looking for another chance to get a takedown. The Belarusian shows some life and tags Wessel with a solid one-two. Wessel throws a body kick as Kudin kicks his legs, and Kudin winds up taking a finger to the eye that halts the fight for a brief moment. On the restart, Wessel punches his way in and shoots a double, tripping Kudin’s outside leg and taking him down again. Wessel moves into full mount quickly, but then opts to go to side control on the far side. When he does, Kudin scrambles back up to his feet. Wessel is bleeding from the inside of his right shin, perhaps from checking one of Kudin’s kicks. Wessel circles around gingerly before shooting another double-leg, which Kudin actually defends this time, as “The Juggernaut” can’t explode off of his right leg. Wessel opts to circle around and play it safe in the last 10 seconds, as Kudin advances, just barely landing a punch and a low kick.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Kudin (29-28 Wessel)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Kudin (29-28 Wessel)
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Kudin (29-28 Wessel)

Official result: All three judges -- Michael Barry, William Mason and Cardo Urso -- score the bout 29-28 for the winner by unanimous decision, Mike Wessel.

Jimmie Rivera vs. Jesse Brock

Round 1
Brock connects with a looping right to start the round but not a whole lot in terms of action to start the fight. Rivera lands the first combination about a minute into the round and Brock counters witha single right of his own. Rivera comes back in with another combination capped off with a right head kick that grazes Brock. Rivera is the much more active of the two fighters to start as yet another flurry from Rivera pins Brock up against the cage as we approach the halfway point of the round. Brock tries to throw but only has one right at a time for the TUF participant. The Tiger Schulmann fighter comes back in again with another combination that briefly stuns Brock but Rivera is unable to capitalize. There's a brief stoppage to allow Rivera to put his mouthpiece back in and on the restart it's more of the same. Rivera continues to be aggressive as the former Boise State wrestler tries in vain to grab a single. The bell sounds with another left connecting from Rivera.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Rivera
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Rivera
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Rivera

Round 2
Brock opens the second not even risking throwing hands with Rivera after the first. He immediately ducks in for a double but Rivera defends and forces Brock to fend off a guillotine. The subsequent scramble back up to the feet sees Rivera turn Brock into the cage and connects with a right before the break. With three minutes left to go in the round both fighters are content to pick their spots but Rivera is coming in with combinations while Brock only seems able to connect with the one shot. Another left right from Rivera connects and Brock tries to duck down for a double leg but to no avail. Brock tries again to grab a single with about 90 seconds left but Rivera slips out of that one as well. Both fighters trade takedown attempts without much success before the bell.

Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Rivera
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Rivera

Round 3
Rivera is stalking Brock again, popping him with a tight combination. Brock answers with a lead left hook of his own, but can’t follow up. Rivera probes with his jab, but when he commits, Brock drives in on a single-leg. He gets the leg of “The Terror” up, but can’t sweep his plant foot out. Rivera peels Brock’s hands off and circles off the fence. Rivera lands a jab and easily sprawls on Brock’s follow-up takedown. A body kick, then an outside low kick land for Brock, but the New Yorker sticks him with another left. Brock clinches up, but Rivera turns him around and flurries on the way out. Brock steps in, eats a pair of hooks from Rivera, but does manage to get over-unders. Brock opts to swing, and Rivera simply steps away. A desperate Brock tries to kick at Rivera, but his kicks are blocked and Rivera counters. He drives on a desperate single, but Rivera turns him away again. Brock lands an awkward body kick at the bell, but it's far too little, too late.

Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Rivera (30-27 Rivera)

Zoila Frausto Gurgel vs. Jessica Eye

Round 1
The two run out immediately throwing punches, and it is Eye who connects hardest and first, smashing Frausto Gurgel with two hooks and a right cross that drop her on her seat. Eye swarms with punches, but “The Warrior Princess” gets to her feet. Eye gets a rear waistlock, but Gurgel turns around in the clinch. Eye instantly latches onto a standing arm-triangle choke along the cage. At first it seems fruitless, but Eye gradually works her choking arm under Frausto Gurgel’s jawline. Frausto Gurgel tries to turn away, but Eye yanks her around with the choke in, mauling her in an almost pro-wrestling-esque fashion. Eye continues to squeeze, and Frausto Gurgel falls to her knees in a heap, limp, still in the choke. Referee Bill Bookwalter dives in instantly to stop the bout. Jessica Eye is the winner via an incredible standing technical submission at just 58 seconds of the first round.

Anthony Leone vs. Zach Makovsky

Round 1
Leone slowly creeps toward Makovsky, pawing with jabs and leg kicks. After 90 slow seconds, Makovsky gets a quick single-leg and leaps over Leone into side control. Leone scrambles back to his feet, only to eat part of a head kick from Makovsky which glances off his guard. Makovsky lands a short left hook, and Leone responds with one of his own en route to a clinch along the fence. Makovsky works over-unders and looks for a foot sweep, but can’t get it and Leone circles out. A more aggressive Leone comes toward, walking into a one-two and a body kick from Makovsky. Leone flurries now, stunning Makovsky for a moment and going for a single-leg of his own. The former Drexel wrestler thwarts Leone’s takedown attempt, but gets dinged with punches as he yanks his leg away. A missed Makovsky right hook leads to a clinch and Leone just misses a knee before the bell.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Leone
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Leone
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Leone

Round 2
Makovsky lands a hard outside low kick on an advancing Leone, but then takes a right hook on the follow. Leone clinches up and pushes Makovsky into the fence. The pair works with over-unders, trading positions and putting one another on the fence. Makovsky finally hits an inside trip on Leone, but his foe is back up on his feet almost instantly. Back on the feet, neither man can land clean with their jabs, but Leone throws a Superman fence that scores. Leone shoots, Makovsky counters with a guillotine but Leone clears his legs and tries to set up on top. “Fun Size” holds onto the headlock until Leone forces his way out. The former Bellator bantamweight champion tries to slide up the fence, but Leone pulls him away and sets up in guard. Makovsky throws up a triangle, Leone passes under, but in the ensuing scramble, Makovsky takes top position. Leone rolls back for a leg, and the pair disengage. Good defensive grappling. The pair miss with punches until the end of the second round.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Leone
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Leone
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Leone

Round 3
Leone starts out the third very aggressive going after Makovsky and latching on a guillotine that's put Fun Size in some trouble. After about 30 seconds of maneuvering though Leone gives it up and the subsequent scramble sees Leone back in on a double leg with Makovsky up against the cage. After working from open guard, Leone jumps to side easily but it gives the former champ the opportunity to get back to his feet. Leone goes back in for a leg again but Makovsky forces him to defend a guillotine of his own. With 90 seconds left in the round Makovsky is still on his back with Leone trying to work from half guard. Makovsky is keeping him close looking for a restart but so far to no avail. With 30 seconds left in the round Makovsky tries to turn into Leone but isn't getting very far. The New Yorker simply rides the fight out until the final bell.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Leone (30-27 Leone)

Darrell Horcher vs. Chris Liguori

Round 1
Both fighters gauging the distance with long jabs and leg kicks. The southpaw Horcher’s left hand finds Liguori and stands him up. Horcher circles out and regroups. Horcher locks up a guillotine along the fence, elevating Liguori off the feet, but drops him. As Liguori stand up, Horcher lands another big hard left coming in that drops the UFC veteran against the cage. “The Story” recovers but is eating tons of short left hands inside. Somehow, Liguori is able to get his wits about him, only to eat another torrent of lefts. He separates and eats another massive left that knocks him flat with Horcher storming all over him. It’s fairly surprising referee Greg Franklin hasn’t halted the bout as Liguori is being destroyed. He tries to swim and get a hold of Horcher, but just eats rights and lefts on top. Horcher backs away and Liguori barely gets back to his feet, and even looks to suggest to Franklin he can’t see. Franklin says fight on, and Leone simply rolls at Horcher, eating punishment until Horcher tells him to stand up. Liguori is simply circling away while Horcher stalks him with left hands. With just under 30 seconds to go, Liguori explodes for a double-leg and gets it, setting up on shop briefly to catch his breath before the bell.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-8 Horcher
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-8 Horcher
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-8 Horcher

Round 2
Horcher reaching with his left hand now, but he is still routinely tagging Liguori. Liguori using more lateral movement now, leg kicking, but still seems ginger around the power of Horcher. More left hands from Horcher land. He lands a jab-left that hurts Liguori, but the UFC vet legs kicks and circles away. Horcher throws a body kick and a right that nearly has Liguori running into the fence. Liguori drives into a takedown, pushing Horcher into the fence. Liguori scoops the leg, slamming him to the mat and setting up in side control as the bell sounds.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Horcher
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Horcher
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Horcher

Round 3
Horcher looks like he’s sparring now, throwing for technique rather than power. He sticks his jab out, landing lefts behind it easily. When he throws three and four punchs, they land. Liguori continues to circle, attack Horcher’s legs with his kicks while he bides his time. Horcher steps into the pocket and Liguori smartly hits him with a double-leg takedown to put him on the mat. Liguori works from half guard, landing punches and elbows on Horcher. “The Story” grinds his way to side control with just over 90 seconds to fight in the final frame. Horcher regains full guard, and closes guard and his grip around Liguori in hopes of getting stood up by referee Greg Franklin. Liguori breaks his posture and dusts Horcher with punches and elbows until the bell.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Liguori (29-27 Horcher)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Liguori (29-27 Horcher)

Terrell Hobbs vs. Brylan Van Artsdalen

Round 1
Van Artsdalen starts the round with a couple of nondescript low kicks before Hobbs comes in to clinch, but gets scoop slammed for his trouble. Hobbs works back to his feet and van Artsdalen pushes him up against the cage. Hobbs turns van Artsdalen around and offers a takedown of his own. He can't hold van Artsdalen down, and in the ensuing scramble, Hobbs latches onto a guillotine. Van Artsdalen gets free and drives his man into the fence. The two fighters exchange knees before van Artsdalen suddenly pushes Hobbs to the mat. Hobbs pops back up, sliding out of van Artsdalen's weak standing arm-triangle choke attempt. As Hobbs wriggles free, he takes van Artsdalen's back in the process. From there, Hobbs is able to quickly latch on a rear-naked choke, forcing the tap for the win at 3:07 of the first round.

Tuan Pham vs. Matthew Lozano

Round 1
The catchweight bout is underway after both fighters touch gloves and Lozano starts the action off with a leg kick. Pham looks to be stalking Lozano and catches a looping right as he pursues. Lozano connects with another kick to the body and throws a combination behind it to follow up. Lozano clinches up with Pham and gets the better of an exchange with Pham before the break. After a brief lull in the action, Lozano comes in with some more lefts and rights. Pham doesn't respond. Lozano connects with a right to the body and quickly gets back out before Pham can respond. Lozano's speed and boxing are giving Pham problems as the first round winds down. Pham doubles up with the left hand but with little effect.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Lozano
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Lozano
Greg Savage scores the round 10-9 Lozano

Round 2
A quicker start to the second round as both Lozano and Pham are much more free wheeling with their hands. Lozano even connects with a knee early on the end of an exchange. Pham finally starts to find a home with a left-right combination that lands in succession and tries to follow up by taking Lozano down. Pham puts Lozano on his back roughly 90 seconds into the round. After a brief battle with position Pham postures up and starts to rain down some lefts before Lozano spins underneath him, putting the fighters in north-south position with Pham still on top. Lozano is trying to walk up the cage and eventually parlays his positioning into a scramble that gets the fight back to the feet. With 30 seconds to go in the round, Pham finds a home again for a double-leg takedown that puts Lozano on the floor against the cage.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Pham
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Pham
Greg Savage scores the round 10-9 Pham

Round 3
Pham goes back to the well to start the third, scoring with another takedown less than 30 seconds into the final period. He quickly transitions to half as Lozano again tries to spin on his back against the cage as he did in the second frame. Lozano throws up a triangle attempt that doesn't really threaten Pham and 90 seconds into the round we once again see Pham working in north-south position. Pham is simply trying to neutralize Lozano, chipping away on top and trying to grind out the decision. Lozano tries to turn again but now finds himself in a topside triangle from Pham. Lozano is trying to buck out as the crowd calls for a standup but they're not getting one with Lozano still stuck in Pham's loose triangle. Pham plays out the rest of the round on top.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Pham (29-28 Pham)
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Pham (29-28 Pham)
Greg Savage scores the round 10-9 Pham (29-28 Pham)

Bo Harris vs. Claudio Ledesma

Round 1
Ledesma opens the round with a succession of kicks to the body. Harris tries to answer with a right but Ledesma takes the opportunity to clinch Harris up against the cage and parlays that into a takedown. Ledesma does very little with it though and soon thereafter Harris is back up on his feet. Ledesma fakes with another low kick and ducks under a Harris left to work on a high-crotch takedown. It quickly just becomes Ledesma putting Harris up against the cage and slowing the pace down. Ledesma then reloads for a double-leg takedown with less than a minute left in the round, but can't get his man on the mat. The round ends with Harris glancing with a big right off the break.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Ledesma
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Ledesma
Greg Savage scores the round 10-9 Ledesma

Round 2
Harris initiates the action, pawing out his right but Ledesma quickly counters rushing at Harris and putting him on the mat again. With Harris pinned up against the cage, Ledesma starts to posture up and throw more solid, clean punches with regularity. As he flurries on top, his positioning isn't solid and it allows Harris to roll into Ledesma, clinch and eventually stand the fight back up. With the action restarting on its feet, Ledesma goes back to work with sporadic low kicks while Harris tries to find a home for his right. The last minute of the fight is relatively uneventful as Harris can't string together enough offense against the circling Ledesma.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Ledesma
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-9 Ledesma
Greg Savage scores the round 10-9 Ledesma

Round 3
The first two minutes of this round go by without either tired fighter attempting anything more than a pawing jab or fleeting leg kick. Ledesma is fighting knowing he's probably up two rounds while Harris is still reluctant to let go of his hands knowing he'll probably be taken down. Ledesma circles and when Harris advances, he isn't punching. The crowd grows restless as neither man is really doing anything. As the time ticks down, Harris again closes on Ledesma but can do little more than glance with punches.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-10 (30-28 Ledesma)
Lutfi Sariahmed scores the round 10-10 (30-28 Ledesma)
Greg Savage scores the round 10-9 Ledesma (30-27 Ledesma)

Official result: All three judges -- Michael Barry, Brent Colflesh and Cardo Urso -- score the bout 30-27 for the winner by unanimous decision, Claudio Ledesma.
