Demario Cade vs. Brandon Seyler

Round 1

Cade opens up with a right low kick and Seyler responds with a right upstairs. Seyler changes levels looking for a takedown against the cage. Seyler completes the trip, but Cade springs back to his feet immediately. The fighters remain against the fence as Seylet goes to work. “The Pennsylvania native completes a double-leg takedown and take Cade to the canvas. Seyler looks to pass into half guard, and Cade briefly gets to his feet. Seyler again trips his man to the canvas and quickly takes the back of the Arkansas native. Seyler locks in both hooks and snags a rear-naked choke. Cade is left with no choice but to submit midway through the first round.

Johnny Cottrell vs. Jonathan Gary

Round 1

Kerry Hatley will officiate this lightweight bout. Gary quickly takes the center of the cage and Cottrell opens up with a pair of low kicks. Cottrell lands a right hand upstairs and Gary retorts with a couple low kicks. “Junk Yard Dog” using lateral movement while hammering Cottrell with low kicks. Cottrell is pressing forward but continues to eat low kicks as his lead leg noticeably reddens. Midway through the round and Cottrell seems to have no answer for Gary’s leg kick attack. Cottrell tries to get inside but Gary is scoring with these low kicks, keeping his man at bay. The lightweights again take the center and Gary throws a left-right combination upstairs. Cottrell scores with a solid low kick of his own as the round ends. 10-9 Gary.

Round 2

Cottrell quickly presses forward but Gary immediately continues his kicking attack. Cottrell moves forward with a combination, but the composed Gary keeps it up. Contrell stings Gary with a left hand that drops the “Junk Yard Dog” to the mat. Gary jumps to his feet but Cottrell is all over him. Cottrell brings to the fight to the mat and locks in a hook while peppering his opponent with punches. Cottrell finds his second hook and looks to flatten Gary out while landing shots to the ears. Cottrell threatening with a rear-naked choke as he continues punishing his bloodied opponent. Gary doing his best to stand and Cottrell looks for a guillotine from the headlock position. Gary briefly rolls out of the submission, but Cottrell stands to reset his position. Cottrell again locks up the guillotine and this time Gary is forced to tap.

Scott Cleve vs. John Teixeira

Round 1

Teixeira opens with a left-right combination and Cleve quickly changes levels to complete a takedown. Teixeira immediately works his way back to his feet. Cleve scores with a left hook upstairs and Teixeira answers with a right hand. The featherweights return to the center and Cleve throws out a jab-straight combination. Teixeira lands a solid low kick followed by a left hook. Cleve doing his best to stay out of the pocket, throwing punches and resetting his position. Teixeira closes distance near the fence and Cleve drops for a double-leg takedown, taking the Brazilian to the canvas. Teixeira threatens with an omoplata and tries to his the space to stand. After a brief moment “Macapa” is back his feet and wading forward with looping punches. Teixeira scored with a solid right hand upstairs that wobbles the Colorado Springs native. Cleve looks to change levels but Teixeira pushes him off. Teixeira presses forward as the round ends. 10-9 Teixeira.

Round 2

Teixeira starts quickly with a series of hooks upstairs, prompting Cleve to change levels. Teixeira circles out to take Cleves back, but the fighters stand shortly afterwards. Teixeira lands another solid right hand up top. The Brazilian is starting to get his timing down as his punches start landing at a higher frequency. Teixeira scores with an inside low kick. Cleve wades forward with a combination and Teixeira answers with a pair of hooks to the midsection. Cleve lands a right hand but Teixeira seems shakes it off, answering with a combination “Macapa” clips his man with a hard right hand. Cleve’s right eye is bloodied up. Teixeira lands a sharp uppercut that appears to wobble his opponent. Cleve moves forward with several jabs as the round closes. 10-9 Teixeira.

Round 3

The final round beings with Teixeira throwing wild hooks upstairs. Cleve looks for a takedown but it’s well defended. Cleve moves forward with a combination but catches an eye poke, prompting Kerry Hatley to call a quick break in the action. The fight resumes and Teixeira lands a right uppercut followed by a high kick. Cleve now looking for desperation takedowns, but the Brazilian easily defends. Cleve catches a low kick and takes Teixeira to the mat but the the Brazilian stands up quickly. Teixeira scored with a thudding right uppercut to the body. 2:00 on the clock now and the featherweights exchange in the center of the cage. Cleve looks for a takedown but nothing there. Teixeira circles the cage as Cleve advances with straight punches. Cleve lands a solid left-right hook combination as the Brazilian swings wildly. Cleve’s punches are really starting to find their mark as the Brazilians left eye is bloodied up. Cleve pushes forward with left and right hooks as the final bell sounds. 10-9 Cleve.

Stephen Banaszak vs. Emmanuel Sanchez

Round 1

Banaszak opens with a low kick that drops Sanchez to the canvas. Banaszak immediately pounces, but Sanchez manages to take his back during a scramble. Banaszak rolls out of the position and Sanchez stands to his feet, allowing Banaszak to do the same. The featherweights take the center and Banaszak is moving forward with kicks. Banaszak throws a spinning kick and pushes Sanchez to the cage. “El Matador” gets his opponents back in the body lock position and lands several knees to the legs. Banaszak looks for a hip toss, but Sanchez defends and ends up with back mount. The Roufusport fighter locks in both hooks and begins fishing for a rear-naked choke. Sanchez’s arm is not fully under the chin but he continues torquing the submission, prompting Banaszak to submit.

Jason Butcher vs. Andreas Michailidis

Round 1

Butcher quicky takes the center and presses forward with punches. Michailidis looking to counter as Butches wades forward. Michailidis throwing wild hooks and Butcher drops him to the mat right a right hook. Michailidis springs back up to his feet and continues moving foward with hook combinations. The fight hits the mat and Butcher threatens with a triangle. Butcher threatens with a leglock attempt and Michailidis uses the space to move into side control. Butcher regains half guard as the Greek works from top position. Michailidis trying to pass the guard of the Cincinnati native, but Butcher is very active from the bottom. Michailidis lands some ground and pound and then stands to throw down a few looping punches. Butcher looking for a kimura from bottom but Michailidis defends and keeps his top position. Butcher uses a kimura to sweep Michailidis into full mount. The round ends with Butcher landing several hard elbows from mount, which slice open the left eyebrow of Michailidis. 10-9 Butcher.

Round 2

Butcher moves forward with punches, pressuring his opponent against the cage. Michailidis looks for a spinning kick, but Butcher shoves him to the canvas and begins landing solid ground and pound. Referee Jason Herzog warns Michailidis to fight back, but Butcher continues his attack, forcing a halt to the contest.

Cortez Coleman vs. Will Florentino

Round 1

John McCarthy will officiate this welterweight bout. Florentino opens up with a couple lunging jabs and Coleman answers with a right hand upstairs. Florentino scores with a right outside lowkick. Coleman drops the lanky welterweight with a left hand. Florentino jumps to his feet but Coleman continues his attack against the cage, throwing several uppercuts up the middle. Florentino reverses position but continues to eat punches. Florentino circles out and the welterweights take the center. Florentino lands an outside low kick and “The Crazy Cowboy” answers with a left hook-uppercut combination. Florentino using his jab well, but Coleman quickly closes distance and ties his opponent up against the fence. Coleman using a body lock trying to drag his man to the canvas. The Oklahoma native briefly takes Florentino down, but the welterweights are back to their feet. Coleman lands several hard uppercuts against the cage. Florentino reverses position but Coleman continues his inside attack as the round ends. 10-9 Coleman.

Round 2

Coleman staying light on his feet as he plays the outside of the cage. Florentino pushes forward with low kicks, trying to use his jab. Florentino steps in with a left hand. Coleman with a left-right hook combination. Florentino trying to use his range with low kicks. Coleman lands a right hand over the top that backs “Furious” up to the fence. Half way through the round Coleman scores with a left hook upstairs. Florentino lands an inadvertent low blow and referee John McCarthy calls for a break in the action. After a short break the fight resumes, and Coleman wades forward with a hook combination. Florentino answers with a couple punches of his own and the fight again takes the center. Florentino lands a straight right followed by a flush left high kick. Coleman moves forward and clocks Florentino with a right hook that drops the Texan to the mat. Coleman does not follow his man to the floor and allows Florentino to stand. Coleman changes levels and completes a double-leg takedown as the bell sounds.10-9 Coleman.

Round 3

The final stanza begins with Florentino flicking out a couple jabs followed by an outside low kick. Coleman is using his patience here in the third round, circling the outside of the cage. Florentino scores with another low kick and Coleman answers with a couple wild hooks. Coleman changes levels but settles for a body lock, forcing Florentino against the cage. With 3:00 left on the clock, Coleman completes the takedown and goes to work in Florentino’s guard. “Furious” is staying active off his back and briefly threatens with a guillotine. Coleman keeps the pressure and moves into half guard. Short elbows from the top by Coleman followed by a pair of left hands to the ribs. Coleman lands some short punches as Florentino tries to sit up. Coleman scores with a left elbow that opens up a cut on the forehead of the Texas native. Coleman continues to work from top position, landing several punches as the final bell sounds. 10-9 Coleman.

Bubba McDaniel vs. Emiliano Sordi

Round 1

Jason Herzog will oversee our first televised bout of the evening. Sordi opens up with an outside low kick followed by a right hand over the top. McDaniel changes levels and looks for a takedown. Sordi defends as McDaniel looks for a sweep. McDaniel takes top position and Sordi locks up a guillotine choke. The Argentinian doesn’t quite have the angle but switches to full guard, allowing him to increase the pressure on the neck of McDaniel. Sordi continues cranking the submission and McDaniel is forced to tap only 58 seconds into the first round.

Alexander Sarnavskiy vs. Dakota Cochrane

Round 1

Cochrane staying light on his feet playing the outside of the cage. Sarnavskiy leaps forward with a flying knee and Cochran answers with knees up the center. Sarnavskiy scores with a spinning back fist and Cochrane looks to change levels. Sarnavskiy defends and moves forward landing several straight punches. Cochrane again looks for the takedown against the cage. The Russian is defending and lands a couple knees up the center. The fighters separate and Cochrane lands a couple punches upstairs. Sarnavskiy rocks the Nebraska native’s head back with left jab and then follows with a flying knee that finds its mark. Cochrane drops to the canvas and Sarnavskiy immediately takes his back, locking up a rear-naked choke. The submission is tight and Cochrane is left with no choice but to tap.

Michael Page vs. Nah-Shon Burrell

Round 1

Jason Herzog is the third man in the cage for this welterweight contest. Page takes the center with a sideways stance keeping his lands low. Burrell backs the Englishman up to the cage, but Page circles out. Burrell secures underhooks and again ties Page up against the fence. Page circles out and the fighters take the center. Burrell lands a right hand over the top and then rushes forward, clinching up with the striking phenom. Burrell changes levels and looks for a double-leg takedown, but Page hits a switch and escapes to the center. Page keeps his lands low and feints a front kick followed by a left-right combination upstairs. The UFC veteran continues to slow the Page down by pressing him against the fence. With under 1:00 left on the clock the fighters remain against the cage as Burrell lands short knees to the thigh of his opponent. Page fires off a tornado kick that misses it’s mark. Page throws a spinning-back kick. Burrell rushes forward and Page briefly has top position. The fighters stand against the cage as the round ends. 10-9 Burrell.

Round 2

Page opens with an axe kick but Burrell again manages to tie him up against the fence. “Venom” circles out and again takes the center. Burrell misses with a spinning-back fist and Page rushes in. Burrell ties him up from the body lock position, possibly looking for an outside trip against the fence. “The Rock-N-Rolla” is keeping pressure on the Englishman. Page escapes the position and changes levels for a takedown, but quickly abandons it. Burrell wades forward and nearly eats a high kick. Page misses with a spinning-back fist and Burrell pushes him against the cage. “Venom” reverses the position and the fighters separate. More of the name now as the fighters grappled for position aginst the cage. With under a minute left Page completes a trip, but Burrell is back to his feet immediately. The fighters trade spinning kicks but nothing lands. The round ends with Burrell securing underhooks near the fence. 10-9 Page.

Round 3

The final round begins and Page stalks forward. Page lands a left body kick and then charges in. Burrell moves forward and eats an uppercut from Page, but forces his opponent against the fence. Page reverses to grab the body lock and looks for a trip. “Venom” separates and takes the center. The Englishman begins taunting Burrell and again fires off a spinning kick, but it doesn’t land. Midway through the round Page is pressing forward with his hands low. Burrell ties Page up against the fence, landing short knees up the middle. The fighters separate and Burrell eats a short uppercut. Page tries to follow up with a spinning kick, but it’s caught by Burrell who drags his opponent to the canvas. Burrell keeping the pressure from top position as Page attempts to use the cage to stand. With under 30 seconds left on the clock, Page is back to his feet. The Englishman whiffs on a spinning-back fist and the final bell sounds. 10-9 Page (29-28 Page).

Eduardo Dantas vs. Joe Warren

Round 1

John McCarthy will officiate this bantamweight title unification bout. Warren immediately changes levels looking for a takedown. He ties Dantas up against the cage but the Brazilian is defending well thus far. Warren lands a couple short knees as the referee calls for action. Dantas is keeping a wide base while defending the takedown. With 3:00 left on the clock Warren again drops for a double-leg but Dantas circles out. Warren lands a step in knee followed by a cartwheel kick. Dantas rushes forward with a left hook-uppercut combination and the fighters again tie up against the fence. Dantas scores with a solid elbow over the top and the bantamweights again take the center. Warren throwing wild strikes to close distance and completes a body lock takedown. The Colorado native looks to take Dantas’ back, but “Dudu” shakes him off. Warren again in the body lock position as his pushes the Brazilian against the cage. Dantas threatens with a standing kimura as the bell sounds. 10-9 Warren.

Round 2

Warren circles the outside and launches a right hand upstairs. Dantas fires off a step-in knee and Warren rushes forward, completing a takedown. The Brazilian springs to his feet and Warren tries to take his back, but they separate shortly after. Warren changes levels and Dantas defends well, pushing the American against the fence. Dantas uses a foot sweep to take Warren to the canvas and steps into full mount right against the cage. Warren is trying to use the fence to stand as Dantas lands a several short punches to the head. Warren powers out of the position and immediately drops for a takedown of his own. Warren abandons the takedown and lands a knee up the center. Warren again ties his man up but Dantas escapes, landing a spinning-back fist in the process. With 1:00 left on the clock Warren continues to clinch against the cage. Dantas lands a solid counter knee upstairs that backs Warren up. Warren again looks for a takedown but Dantas defends nicely, nearly taking his back as the round ends. 10-9 Dantas.

Round 3

Dantas takes the center of the cage and lunges forward with a combination, rocking Warren’s head with an uppercut. Dantas is pressing forward with punches. Warren drops for a takedown and drives the Brazilian to the mat. Dantas threatening with a triangle from bottom before switching to an armbar. Warren defends and lands some solid ground and pound from top position. The champion scoots to the cage and rises to his feet, using a standing kimura to circle out. Dantas lands a clean right body kick and then follows with a partially blocked spinning-back fist. Warren closes distance and takes his man down with a body lock. Warren looking to move into full mount but Dantas regains half guard. With 1:00 left on the clock, Warren is going to work with short punches. Dantas sits up looking for a sweep but Warren holds position. The round ends with Warren in Dantas’ full guard. 10-9 Warren.

Round 4

The bantamweights measure each other in the center of the cage. Warren leaps forward with a knee. Warren charges forward looking for a takedown and completes it against the cage. Warren has his opponent’s back, but Dantas’ sweeps out of position and the fighters are back to their feet. Dantas is accidentally poked in the eye and referee John McCarthy calls for a break in action. After a short break the fight resumes and Warren dives forward looking for a takedown against the fence. Midway through the round Dantas circles out and wades forward with a left-right combination. Warren again changes levels, securing a body lock against the cage. Dantas completes a trip, but Warren scrambles out. Warren looking for another takedown against the cage and the Brazilian defends well. Dantas lands a solid flying knee that appears to have Warren stunned as the round comes to an end. 10-9 Dantas.

Round 5

The final round begins and it’s Warren pushing forward. Dantas scores with a right hand upstairs. “Dudu” lauches a flying knee that appears to land, but Warren drags him to the canvas. Dantas threatening with a possible triangle but Warren escapes to land some solid ground and pound. Danta again threatens with a triangle. The fighters are in an awkward position against the fence and Warren fires off an illegal kick to his grounded opponent. The kick opens up a cut near Dantas’ right eye. Referee John McCarthy calls a short break in the action to warn Warren, and the fight resumes. Warren changes levels for a takedown and completes it near the cage. Warren takes the back of the Nova Uniao fighter, but Dantas manages to shake him off. Dantas now will back mount but Warren escapes. With 1:30 left on the clock the bantamweights are again standing. Warren lands a solid clinch knee and looks for another double-leg takedown. Dantas defends but Warren completes a trip, briefly taking the Brazilian’s back. Dantas springs to his feet, and Warren looks for a takedown against the fence as the final bell sounds. 10-9 Warren (48-47 Warren).
