A pair of title shots will be on the line when Bellator MMA heads to Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., for its second 2014 Summer Series Event.

Promotion officials Monday announced that Bellator 122 will feature a middleweight tournament final pitting Brett Cooper against Brandon Halsey, while Andrey Koreshkov will square off with Adam McDonough in a 170-pound final. Both winners will receive title shots in their respective divisions at a later date. Bellator 122’s main card will air on Spike TV, with the preliminary card streaming immediately prior on Spike.com.

Cooper punched his ticket to the 185-pound final with a second-round knockout of Kendall Grove at Bellator 114. The 26-year-old reign MMA representative came up short in his first title shot, dropping a five-round verdict to Alexander Shlemenko last September. Unbeaten in six professional appearances, Halsey outpointed Joe Pacheco at Bellator 116 to earn his spot opposite Cooper.

While the Season 10 middleweight tournament featured four fighters, the welterweight bracket included eight entrants. Koreshkov, whose only professional defeat come to former champ Ben Askren last July, scored first-round knockouts of Nah-Shon Burrell and Justin Baesman to reach the 170-pound final. The undefeated McDonough made his way through the bracket by outpointing Jesse Juarez and knocking out Nathan Coy.
