Will Brooks will officially receive his shot at revenge against Saad Awad on Friday night, as both lightweights were cleared to compete at Thursday’s Bellator 105 weigh-ins.
Brooks tipped the scales at 155.7 pounds, while Awad came in slightly lighter at 155.2. The men previously met this past February in the Season 8 semifinals, with Awad scoring a 43-second knockout over his favored opponent at Bellator 91.

Kickboxing standout Siala-Mou Siliga (263.7) will also see action, as “Mighty Mo” takes on fellow heavyweight Ron Sparks (261.2). Meanwhile, middleweights Keith Berry (185.8) and Eugene Fadiora (184.6) will kick off the televised card. Prior to the Spike TV broadcast, the preliminary draw streams live on Spike.com and is highlighted by bantamweight showdowns pitting Luis Alberto Nogueira (135.9) against Frank Baca (135.3) and Shawn Bunch (135.6) against Steve Garcia (135.1).
