Lipski, the former KSW champion known as “The Violence Queen,” will enter her promotional debut on a nine-bout winning streak. Most recently, she took a five-round verdict over Silvana Gomez Juarez at KSW 42 on March 3. Prior to that, the 24-year-old Curitiba native had finished six opponents in a row by way of knockout, technical knockout or submission.
Calderwood, meanwhile, snapped a two-bout skid in her most recent outing, as she submitted Kalindra Faria in the opening stanza at UFC Fight Night 135 on Aug. 25. “JoJo” is 4-3 in the Octagon and 12-3 as a professional overall.
UFC Fight Night Brooklyn will be the promotion’s first event to stream on ESPN+. The card does not yet have a headliner but is expected to include Rachael Ostovich vs. Paige VanZant, Glover Teixeira vs. Ion Cutelaba and Greg Hardy vs. Allen Crowder.
