With Amir Sadollah taking Kyle Noke’s place against Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC Fight Night “Hunt vs. Nelson”, Nicholas Musoke was left without an opponent on Oct. 4. Alexander Yakovlev has filled the void and now faces “Nico” at UFC Fight Night in Stockholm.
UFC officials announced the fresh pairing on Friday. The UFC Fight Night card takes place at the Ericsson Globe Arena and is headlined by a welterweight duel between Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story.

For rapper/mixed martial artist Yakovlev, the date with Musoke will be an opportunity to grab his first win under the UFC banner. His first outing against Demian Maia at “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” finale was close, but the Russian-born fighter left with a decision loss.
Prior to joining the Zuffa ranks, Yakovlev had accrued a record of 8-1-1 in his last 10 fights, including a win over Paul Daley in Moscow.
