Alex Oliveira to Face Piotr Hallmann at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo on Nov. 7

Alex Oliveira will square off against Pitor Hallmann at UFC Fight Night "Belfort vs. Henderson 3" on Nov. 7.

The promotion’s Brazilian branch announced the lightweight bout on Wednesday. The UFC Fight Night card takes place at the Geraldo Jose de Almeida State Gymnasium in Sao Paulo and is headlined by a third meeting between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson.

Oliveira has already had three UFC appearances thus far in 2015. The 27-year-old known as “Cowboy” dropped his debut to Gilbert Burns before scoring back-to-back triumphs against K.J. Noons and Joe Merritt. Oliveira is 12-2-1 as a professional, including 10 triumphs inside the distance.

After knocking off Francisco Trinaldo in his first Octagon foray, Hallmann has lost three of his last four outings within the Las Vegas-based promotion. The 28-year-old Pole most recently suffered a doctor stoppage loss to Magomed Mustafaev at UFC Fight Night on June 20.
