Alex Caceres to Face Francisco Rivera at UFC Fight Night ‘Cormier vs. Bader’

A bantamweight clash between Alex Caceres and Francisco Rivera has been added to the UFC Fight Night “Cormier vs. Bader” lineup.
Promotion officials announced the matchup on Tuesday. The UFC Fight Night event takes place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans and is headlined by a light heavyweight showdown between Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader.
Caceres will be making his first appearance of 2015 after a 1-2 campaign last year. The MMA Lab representative began 2014 with a submission of Sergio Pettis before falling to Urijah Faber and Masanori Kanehara in consecutive appearances.
Rivera, meanwhile, is coming off back-to-back losses to Takeya Mizugaki and Faber in his last two outings. The 33-year-old Californian owns triumphs over Alex Soto, Edwin Figueroa and George Roop during his Octagon tenure.
