Semifinal pairings are set for Season 29 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” Four prospective bantamweights and four middleweight hopefuls remain on the revived reality series, which features current Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight titleholder Alexander Volkanovski and No. 1 contender Brian Ortega as opposing coaches.
The semifinals feature four men from each team. In the bantamweight bracket, Liudvik Sholinian (Ortega) faces Ricky Turcios (Volkanovski) and Vince Murdock (Ortega) meets Brady Hiestand (Volkanovski). Meanwhile, Andre Petroski (Ortega) locks horns with Bryan Battle (Volkanovski) and Tresean Gore (Ortega) squares off against Gilbert Urbina (Volkanovski) in the middleweight draw.
Episode 9 of “The Ultimate Fighter 29” streams to ESPN+ on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
