Jim Miller’s loss to Ben Henderson at UFC Live 5 ended a seven-fight winning streak for the AMA Fight Club product. The majority of players in Sherdog’s MMA Pick’Em game expect Miller to rebound against Melvin Guillard in the UFC on FX 1 main event on Friday at the Bridgestone Arena, in Nashville, Tenn., as 68 percent have chosen the New Jersey native to defeat “The Young Assassin.”

A tough out for anyone who faces him in the Octagon, Miller has only lost to the division’s best in his 23-fight career, dropping decisions to Henderson, two-time UFC lightweight title challenger Gray Maynard and current champion Frankie Edgar. The 28-year-old has finished 11 of his 20 wins by submission. Prior to his setback against Henderson, Miller defeated Kamal Shalorus by technical knockout in round three of their UFC 128 encounter.

Guillard was submitted by Joe Lauzon in just 47 seconds at UFC 136, ending a five-fight unbeaten run that had recently included impressive stoppages of Evan Dunham and Shane Roller. A competitor on Season 2 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Guillard recently moved his training camp from Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts in Albuquerque, N.M., to Imperial Athletics in Boca Raton, Fla.

Other Pick’Em trends for the UFC on FX 1 main card:

Duane Ludwig was recently recognized as the owner of the fastest knockout in UFC history. Now, he is feeling the love from Pick’Em participants, as 65 percent of them like the Colorado native to take down the well-traveled Josh Neer in a welterweight scrap. Neer beat Keith Wisniewski in October in his first UFC bout since a loss to Gleison Tibau in 2009;

• A whopping 95 percent of players think Mike Easton will earn his second straight win in the Octagon against newcomer Jared Papazian in a bantamweight tussle. The 27-year-old Ultimate Warrior Challenge veteran stopped Byron Bloodworth in the second round at UFC Live 6.

• The majority (89 percent) favors Pat Barry over the 6-foot-6 Christian Morecraft in a heavyweight clash. Barry has suffered back-to-back losses to Stefan Struve and Cheick Kongo. Morecraft is coming off a second-round knockout defeat to Matt Mitrione in June.
