Every Wednesday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the Sherdog.com blog. This week, Breen welcomes Sherdog contributor and SiriusXM radio host R.J. Clifford to “Press Row.”

With the 2014 Winter Olympics now in full swing, Breen and Clifford discuss the idea of MMA as an Olympic sport, debating its feasibility, political and cultural hurdles and why so many in the sport want to see it in the Olympics in spite of the difficulties. The two discuss pro and amateur status in MMA, recent changes to international wrestling and judo and what they mean for MMA, as well as why getting Brazilian jiu-jitsu in the Olympics would be an uphill battle.
