Polaris 4 Main Card Lineup Finalized

U.K.-based professional grappling promotion Polaris is set to host its fourth event in a few weeks and after months of speculation, the final lineup of bouts has been unveiled.

Polaris revealed on Friday that there will be 12 bouts in total, divided equally between three segments, each separated by an interval. Polaris 4 goes down on Oct. 29 at the Lighthouse Centre in Poole, Dorsett, England and all the action can be viewed online.

World Masters Champion and ADCC legend Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro will take on old rival Fernando “Terere” Augusto, a multiple-time world champion in jiu-jitsu, in the main event. Their encounter will be a 15-minute gi match under Polaris’s professional jiu-jitsu rules.

The preliminary card will be streamed live on Polaris’s official YouTube channel at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. time while the main card will be available via internet pay-per-view beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. PT.

Garry Tonon will grapple with Gilbert Burns in the co-feature while Ikuhisa Minowa will go up against AJ Agazarm. Rounding out the main card will a matchup between Jackson Sousa and Dillon Danis.

The live stream of the Polaris pay-per-view includes the following matches: Tom Breese vs. Ben Dyson; Dominyka Obelenyte vs. Yas Wilson; Eduardo Teta Rios vs. Charles Negromonte and Nathan Orchard vs. Masakazu Imanari. The prelims on YouTube will feature: Miha Perhavec vs. an opponent to be revealed; Jeff Lawson vs. Paul Bridges; Phil Harris vs. Spencer Hewitt and Ross Nicholls vs. Marco Canha.
