Lion Fight, America’s leading muay Thai promotion, returns to Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, Friday night. Lion Fight 29 will be anchored by a middleweight special attraction between “Smokin’” Jo Nattawut and Regian Eersel and will be televised live on AXS TV beginning at 9 p.m. T/6 p.m. PT.

Nattawut was slated to defend his Lion Fight super welterweight title, but after two opponents fell through because of injury, the Thai superstar agreed to fight in a non-title affair against Eersel, who accepted the fight on a week’s notice. At Thursday’s weigh-ins. Both combatants tipped the scale identically at 159 pounds, clearing the way for the battle.

Co-main event fighters Dechsakda Sitsongpeenong and Ognjen Topic both weighed in at 132 pounds for their duel.
