Glory 43 Main Card Finalized

Glory 43: New York is finally complete as promotional newcomer Elvis Gashi has been brought into the fold to take on Canadian Josh Jauncey. The pair will collide in the event’s co-feature, which takes place on July 14 inside The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Gashi ran roughshod over his opposition in the amateurs, having gone a remarkable 107-3 before leaving his native Kosovo for America to turn pro. “Super” Gashi has quickly amassed a 18-0 record with 9 knockouts as a pro, but he’ll have his hands full with Jauncey (26-8, 15 KOs), who will be his stiffest test thus far.

The Glory 43: New York main card will feature a four-man one-night featherweight contender tournament where Matt Embree will face Kevin Vannostrand and Giga Chikadze will oppose Aleksei Ulianov, with the two winners meeting in the finals after heavyweights Benjamin Adegbuyi and Guto Inocente handle their business.

Former Glory light heavyweight champion Saulo Cavalari will headline the Glory 43 SuperFight Series undercard when he takes on Pavel Zhuravlev.

An injury to featherweight contender Chris Mauceri has removed him from the marquee and stepping in to fill his spot will be Arthur Sorsor, who will face Road to Glory UK tournament champ Bailey Sugden (8-1, 2 KOs).

Rounding out the Glory 43 SuperFight Series undercard is a middleweight bout between Ariel Sepulveda and Joe Taylor; a featherweight scrap featuring Mo Abdurahman and Chenchen Li; Itay Gershon will collide with Rafal Dudek at lightweight; Anissa Meksen will take on Jady Menezes at super bantamweight; and Arthur Sorsor will face Road to Glory UK tournament champ Bailey Sugden.

The Glory 43 SuperFight Series undercard will stream live on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The Glory 43: New York main card, which is slated to be anchored largely by a four-man one-night featherweight contender tournament, will stream live on ESPN3 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
